Supervisors or Team Leaders need to master a number of core skills to be effective in their job. These are the essential base on which - in addition to their technical background - they can build a sound career.
This short and compact 3-day course covers the more critical of these skills. It aims to provide Supervisors with an understanding of what supervision or team leading is about and the confidence to do it well. Following this course they will know how to be much better organised in themselves and how to relate to and lead their team to deliver quality.
The course is designed for anyone who has the job of supervising or leading a group and who feels the need to develop some better skills in this area. It will be valuable for participants from any industry background - manufacturing, processing, services, retail, etc.
The course is designed to be fully flexible to suit the participants' situation. It is designed as a short course to suit those who see themselves as under too much pressure now to undertake a more comprehensive course. Therefore, while it typically will run as 3 separate full days, it can be run in 6 half-day sessions.
This course will be presented by Kevin Smith, who will also provide whatever pre- and post -course assistance or advice participants or their sponsoring companies may need to maximise its value.
